This is the last post on Hair Spa Ideas for now. Here are two more ideas and more on why hair spa is good for your hair and scalp.
Yogurt Hair Spa
Mash a ripe Avocado and add it to ¼ Cup of Yogurt. Mix well. Apply this Mask to your hair after steaming it for about 10 minutes. Let the mask sit for at last ½ hour before you wash off your hair. Use tepid or cool water to wash off your hair. You can do this once a week. Rich in fatty acids, this mask repairs and nourishes your hair while restoring hair’s lost shine and sheen. It also helps with dandruff related issues. You can use this mask once every week.
Aloe Vera Hair Spa
Take ½ Cup of Aloe Vera Gel (or as needed) and add a spoon of Lemon Juice and mix well. It is easier to blend this mixture lightly as it is easier to spread that way. Steam your hair for about 10 minutes and then, apply the Aloe Mask for your hair. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Wash your hair with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo. You can do this once every week. With lemon, this mask is light on your hair and gets rid of excess oil. So works well for oily scalp and hair, though it is good for normal hair too. For Dry Hair, you can swap Lemon Juice with Glycerin or Honey.
So, What are the Benefits of a Hair Spa?
Eliminates Dandruff
We’ve already covered a lot about dandruff and have also added recipes that aid with eliminating or curbing dandruff. Natural ingredients can really help keep dandruff at bay. Clean and healthy scalp is important if you want to stay dandruff free. Hair spa ensures deep cleansing by clearing clogged pores and nourishes hair and scalp from within. With ingredients that help combat dandruff added to that, it can’t get any better. Can it?
Conditioning
This is another pointer we’ve already discussed. Hair Spa Treatments are known for leaving the hair and scalp feeling clean, refreshed and breathing! Also, the conditioning that happens during steaming and treatments can strengthen one’s hair and nourish the scalp. The cleansing ensures clean pores, better nutrient absorption and the nourishment ensures hair and scalp are hydrated and healthy.
Delays Ageing
We’ve already discussed once that’s scalp is an extension of your skin and that’s why, scalp type is often your skin type. So, just like your skin, scalp can age too. This results in graying, hair thinning, etc. With regular rejuvenating Hair Spa Treatments, one can delay ageing.
Stronger & Healthier Hair
All the Spa Treatments are intended to strengthen, rejuvenate and nourish the hair and scalp. This will translate into lustrous, strong and healthy hair.
Stress Relief
Most Spa Treatments are intended to relax and calm your mind and body. This is no different. Like mentioned in our earlier posts, you can add some aroma oils for enhanced real-spa-like experience. But the idea is to get you relaxed and calm. That’s one of the best things about spa, right?
Regulates Oil Production
Depending on the requirement of your hair and scalp, you can choose your Spa Treatments. If oil regulation is a problem for you, you can choose a pack that will help with the same. This way, you hair and scalp will remain non-greasy and healthy.
Say NO to Bad Hair Days
Dry, Frizzy or Dull Hair will become a thing of the past when you indulge in Hair Spa Treatments regularly. Steaming is one of the best ways to boost your hair and scalp health and it will show in the form of lustrous and shiny hair.
So Hair Spas aren’t just for show, they’re really good when done right. However, you can do the same right at home like we’ve suggested in our previous posts and enjoy the same benefits.
