Want to condition your scalp and stimulate it, to promote hair growth? Read on, to learn a simple but effective recipe that’s natural.
A formula that balances your scalp sebum production and promotes hair growth, this scalp stimulator is an all-in-one hair solution that offers multiple benefits – now, that’s what many women want. I came up with this hair stimulator to promote better scalp circulation, thus better hair growth.
Let’s start with the recipe first.
Ingredients
Jojoba Oil – 4 Tbsp.
Argan Oil – 1 Tbsp.
Rosemary Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Lavender Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Basil Essential Oil – 15 Drops
Peppermint Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Lemongrass Essential Oil – 5 Drops
Instructions
In a dark glass bottle, add all the oils and gently shake to combine. Let it sit for two days before you start using it.
Why This Recipe?
This is a potent formula that conditions your scalp, promotes hair growth, stimulates your scalp circulation and also, regulates sebum production. The best part – tingling sensation that also leaves your scalp cool and refreshed.
How to Use It?
I usually massage this into my scalp at night and let it sit overnight. I wash my hair next morning and usually do this before every hair shower. However, if you have dry hair or scalp, you won’t even have to wash off after.
I take a spoon or two of this oil and apply to my scalp using my fingertips and gently massage for a few minutes. The key is applying a touch of the oil, you don’t need to lather it – it is quite effective even in small amounts. Apply the remaining oil on your tips and wrap a silk scarf on your head. Done!
If you can’t leave it overnight, make sure you wait at least 30 – 45 minutes before showering. This time is needed for the formula to penetrate the scalp and do their work!
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
Though I prefer Jojoba Oil, you can substitute it with any oil. Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil or even Sweet Almond Oil are few options you can consider.
You can swap or skip any ingredient you are not comfortable with and go with equivalent options.
As for essential oils, I keep swapping them or changing them based on my requirements, preference and mood. For this reason, I usually had smaller batches done.
