No foam, no harsh chemicals or toxins, but natural herbs and we’re on our way to healthy and happy hair. All the herbs chosen are good in their own and used for ages in alternative medicines for hair and scalp care.
Ingredients
False Daisy Leaves (Powdered) – 1 Tbsp.
Fenugreek Seeds (Powdered) – 1/2 Tsp.
Brahmi Leaves (Powdered) – 1 Tbsp.
Margosa Leaves (Powdered) – 1 Tbsp.
Avaram Senna Flowers (Powdered) – 1 Tsp.
Sandalwood Powder – 1/4 Tsp.
Vetiver Powder – 1/4 Tsp.
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and make a paste using Water.
Done!
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
You can use milk or coconut milk instead of water especially if you have dry hair and scalp.
You can also use coconut water, or rose water, or other hydrosols to make a paste – all these are nourishing for the hair and scalp.
You can also add Soap Nut POwder or Hair Fruit Powder to this recipe.
You can use other herbs based on your requirement or availability or preference.
You can also add Onion Juice to this to promote better hair growth, curb hair thinning or hair loss.
You can add Ginger Juice to this recipe to stimulate scalp circulation.
You can use any aromatic herbs or flowers or barks instead of Sandalwood to add aroma to this recipe – rose, lavender buds, geranium petals, etc.
You can also use Aloe Vera Gel to this recipe for added moisturization and nourishment.
Those with dark hair can add hair care herbs like Henna to this recipe.
You can use Rice Water in place of regular water for this recipe.
How to Use the Cleanser?
Use this instead of shampoo or hair cleansers.
Apply the paste to your scalp and hair and massage.
Wait for a few seconds and wash off.
You can use this twice a week for healthy hair and scalp, though this is perfectly good for using daily.
