Do you know every chemical that you put on your skin is getting absorbed into the body and causing serious health hazards? Say NO to chemical laden cosmetics and try these DIY recipes for a healthier you!

Ingredients

Argan Oil – 2 Tbsp.

Aloe Vera Leaves – 2

Helichrysum Essential Oil – 2 -3 drops

Lavender Essential Oil – 2 – 3 drops

Sandalwood Essential Oil – 2 – 3 drops

Method

Take a sterilized bottle to prepare the face wash. Don’t know to sterilize it? Just boil a few cups of water in a bowl. Add the cleaned bottle to the boiling water and remove after a minute or two. Let it dry and use.

Remove the Aloe Gel from the stem gently and add it to a mixing bowl. Gently mash it using a spoon.

Now, add the Argan Oil and Aloe Vera gel into the bottle.

Add in the essential oils and shake well.

That’s It! Your mild and gentle, soap-free face wash is ready!

Using the Face Wash

There’s no rocket science involved here! Just use it like your normal face wash! Since this is a very nourishing blend, remember to massage for a few seconds before washing off. Rinse with warm water.

Prepare it every two weeks, so it is fresh for most part. However, this should hold good for 3 weeks or more, when refrigerated. You can add Vitamin E oil to increase its shelf life, when you don’t have time to prepare it very often.

Why this DIY Face Wash is Special?

This is very mild and suitable for those with sensitive skin, extremely dry skin or even for those enduring eczema or dermatitis.

Rinsing your face with warm water helps remove excess oil residue, yet does not leave your skin dry.
