You can do this once a month, or once in two months, to cleanse your scalp regularly to promote hair growth and for better nourishment.

Tweaking the Recipe

I chose coconut oil as the base oil, because it is affordable and suits most hair types. You can choose any base oil like Olive, Sweet Almond, Apricot, Avocado, or even Sesame, depending on your requirements or preferences. If you are probably using a particular base oil like Olive as your regular hair oil, feel free to use the same one here!
You can add any essential oil of your choice. I recommend Lavender or Roman Chamomile, for a relaxing experience.
If you want to promote hair growth, you can choose Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, etc.
If you have dry hair, you can choose Lavender or Roman Chamomile, whereas, for oily hair you can choose Lemon essential oil.
If you are left with a headache or neck pain post shower, due to cold or strain of washing off long and thick hair, you can choose Eucalyptus, Wintergreen or Peppermint to ward off the pain and keep cold at bay!
If you have other preferences, you can just pick any essential oil you love and you are all set! After all, DIY recipes are great because you can always tweak and modify the recipe to suit your requirements and preferences.
These two hair treatments will ensure your hair becomes healthier, lustrous and hair growth rate improves. Hair fall will also be curbed.
If you have dandruff or other scalp problems, you can swap the base oil for Neem Oil, to bid adieu to all scalp problems including dandruff.

As always, do feed us back with your results. You can use our very own Argan Oil in this recipe for best results.
