Aloe Vera Recipes for Hair – Part IV

EggVera Mask!

Whip together an Egg and 6 Tbsp. of Aloe Vera Gel. Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp and let it sit for 25 minutes. Rinse with tepid water and wash off with a mild shampoo or herbal wash powder. This mask conditions your hair and leaves it soft and shiny.

CocoVera Mask!

Take ¼ Cup each of Coconut Milk and Aloe Vera Gel along with a spoon of Argan Oil. Mix together and apply to your hair and scalp and let it sit for 25 minutes, Wash off with a mild shampoo or herbal hair wash powder. You can do this once a week for conditioning and nourishing your hair.

OliVera Mask

Take ½ Cup each of Aloe Vera Gel and Olive Oil (you can take more in equal quantities according to your hair volume and length) and mix well. Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp and wait for at least 25 minutes before washing off. This strengthens your hair and improves your hair volume. This is a deep conditioning treatment that can be done once a week.

HoneyVera Mask

Take ½ Cup of Aloe Vera Gel, ¼ Cup of Honey, a spoon of Argan Oil and 2 Tbsp. of Sesame Oil. Mix well and massage the mixture to your hair and scalp and let it sit for 25 minutes. Don’t forget the tips of your hair. Wash off with a mild shampoo or herbal hair wash powder. You can do this once a week for conditioning and nourishing your hair. This prevents split ends and improves your hair health.

CastorVera Mask

Want to improve your hair growth and strength? What better way to do it than with Castor Oil? Take ¼ Cup each of Fenugreek Powder, Hibiscus Powder and Castor Oil, along with a Cup of Aloe Vera Gel and mix well. Apply this mixture on your hair and scalp and let it sit for 25 minutes, ideally overnight. Wash off with a mild shampoo or herbal hair wash powder. You can do this twice a week for best results. We all know Castor Oil promotes hair regrowth and improves hair strength and thickness. When combined with these ingredients it stimulates dormant hair follicles and nourishes hair shaft, strands, prevents split ends and gives you stronger and healthier hair that grows long and strong.

Precautions

Make sure to wash off the Aloe Vera leaves thoroughly if you’re using fresh Aloe Gel – many report itching or sensitivity when this is not done right. However, do a patch test to be on the safer side. If you’re going for store-bought gel make sure they’re organic.

Honey and Lemon Juice can lighten your hair. Use them with caution. Slightly heating the honey or lemon juice offsets this a great deal.
