Do you want to nourish and strengthen your hair? Here’s a simple and natural hair spray that will do that for you and the best part – no greasy feeling!
I was looking for a hairspray that I could use, which would also strengthen and nourish my hair. Let’s take a look at the recipe, shall we?

When the mixture is cooled down, transfer it to a spritzer.
Add ground Aloe Vera and Rosemary Essential Oil.
Shake to combine and use as needed.
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
You can also use other hair beneficial herbs like Nettle, Horsetail, Rosemary, Sage, Holy Basil, Lemon Grass, Hibiscus, etc.
Not just herbs, you can also use other hair beneficial ingredients like Ginger, Burdock, Ginseng, Indian Gooseberry, etc.
Hair beneficial Essential Oils like Spikenard, Lavender, Seabuckthorn, Clary Sage, Peppermint or even Cedarwood can be used.
I wasn’t looking for hold, though you can add sugar or honey, if you want hold. If you want light hold, you would need up to 3 Tbsp. of sugar for this recipe.
Shelf Life
It is a good idea to refrigerate this recipe and prepare fresh batches every week or two, though it lasts for a month or two, when refrigerated.
How to Use it?
Just spray on dry hair, or whenever you need hair refreshed and shiny. Though it is ideal to spray during the night, so you can let it sit without the addition of styling products, if you don’t want to wet your hair before you hit the bed, use it before styling.
Why These Ingredients?
All the ingredients used are natural, easily available and extremely beneficial for your hair. Each ingredient has different properties, so you could check the list of other options listed under tweaking to get an idea lf alternatives. Pick the ingredients based on your requirement, like for example:

Like that, you can come up with your own versions and ingredients that are available or more suited for your requirements, to customize this recipe for your needs. What’s the fun with DIY if you don’t play around with the ingredients, mix and match or tweak it a bit?
