Tips to Tweak the Recipe
If you are trying Hot Oil Treatment for your hair for the first time, you can go with this simple recipe. See how your hair reacts to it and then decide on what you can do to suit your taste or preference.
All the three oils listed above suit everybody and offer hair nourishment, moisturizes your hair and promotes growth. If you are not comfortable with one of the oils, you can skip it.
If you do it always, feel free to tweak the recipe. There’s another Hot Oil Treatment I listed earlier, for treating hair and scalp problems. You can follow that recipe, or take inspiration from it.
This recipe is intended for busy working women, or women who don’t want strenuous DIY recipes. So I have kept it very simple, but I will add tips that you can incorporate if you are interested!
You can go with Coconut or Olive with Argan and then add one ingredient after the other, to determine how it goes with your hair.
If you have dry hair, or premature graying, or excessive hair fall and less hair growth, Castor Oil is a great option. But those who are prone to colds or sinusitis don’t opt for castor oil!
Almond Oil is great oil for hair and many with hair fall problems find it useful to switch to Almond Oil. You can try that as well.
Jojoba Oil mimics the oil secreted by our body and hence thumps most oils except Argan, when it comes to hair benefits. Though pricey, it is a good option for those who can afford it. Yes, Argan Oil for hair is the best decision you can ever take to resolve hair problems!
Those with dry hair, find Avocado Oil very useful to regulate oil secretion and restore normalcy. It also reduces aging related issues, so you can consider that as an add-in.
What is good for your hair depends on several factors, a reason why some remedial measures that work for few individuals, doesn’t work for others, even if they have the same hair type. Home remedies work uniquely for everybody and that’s why, you must determine what works best for you.
You can add honey, Aloe Vera juice or gel, essential oils or egg yolk, as they are all great for your hair. However, I would strongly suggest you use ingredients that you are comfortable with and skip the rest!
Some don’t prefer putting yolk to their hair and if that’s the case, there’s no harm! Just skip it and opt for other ingredients!
Essential Oils are fragrant and have lot of benefits. You can choose Peppermint, Lavender, Tea Tree, Rosemary, Chamomile or any other essential oils that you like.
Notes
Don’t prepare hot oil treatments and store it! Always, prepare them fresh for best results.
You don’t need to do it daily, once or twice a week should do.
Massaging for a few minutes after oil application is a great idea.
Once you identify the right ingredients, there’s nothing to stop you from getting lustrous, healthy and long hair! As always, do try this recipe and feed us back with your results. You can use our very own Argan oil in this recipe for added benefits.
