Method

In a double boiler, heat the beeswax till it begins to melt. If you use fractionated coconut oil, you can add that when the beeswax begins to melt.

Don’t have a double boiler? No worries! Just take a wide and shallow fry pan and fill it with ½ inch water. Bring it to a boil. Place a sturdy vessel in that and add the beeswax. Once it begins to melt, you can also add fractionated coconut oil.

Switch off the flame and set it aside for few minutes.

Now, when slightly warm, add Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil Rosehip Seed Oil and give it a stir.

Set aside, till it almost cools down.

Finally, add the rosewater or cucumber juice and mix well. If you are planning to use cucumber juice instead of rosewater, take a cucumber and shred it and set aside for 5 – 10 minutes. Now, add the shredded cucumber to cheesecloth and strain the juice.

Transfer to a sterilized or PET bottle and use as needed.

Tweaking the Recipe

You can skip Rosewater or cucumber extract usage if you don’t have oily skin. This is just to ensure a toning effect, for those with oily skin.

If you don’t get fractionated coconut oil, you can use normal coconut oil instead.

We don’t recommend heating most oils, even when a double boiler is used, so the natural properties are retained intact.

You can add a few drops of essential oil for added fragrance, in case you don’t use Rosewater.

You can also add carrot seed oil to this recipe, to make it more potent.

Also, you can add evening primrose oil, wheat germ oil, hazelnut oil or grapeseed oil to this recipe. These carrier oils have anti-aging properties and can make the recipe better.

How to Use It?

Take a few drops of the Argan Oil Wrinkle Ironer you prepared in your palm. Use your fingers to gently massage your face and neck with this blend at night. You can massage for 3 – 5 minutes, with upward strokes for best results.

You can also apply it during the day, depending on the additional oils you have added. The oils listed above aren’t greasy, though wheatgerm can be greasy if added. All other oils are light and non-greasy.

Just make sure to wash your face before application and spend a few minutes for massage.

Why Use It?

Wrinkles and fine lines are part of aging and begin to show up in late thirties, or early forties. However, with hectic and against-nature lifestyle these days, many of us age sooner. This takes a toll emotionally and we all look at pricey solutions in a bid to salvage our looks. The good news is that, it is possible to delay aging signs with simple measures. Using this wrinkle rescue is one such way. Besides, it is a DIY, so you know what goes in and it is all-natural. You can sport youthful look with this blend, longer.

When Should I Start It?

You can start it anytime you feel your skin is losing its charm and luster due to age. With age, skin begins to lose its elasticity and the healing time is more, as compared to the time when you were young. This means, your skin needs external help for quicker healing and rejuvenation. This recipe helps replenish lost collagen and elasticity, thus restoring youthful look.

Depending on your dietary and lifestyle habits, aging can be proponed, or postponed. So make sure to eat right, exercise regularly and also, stay hydrated. Stress management is very important, if you want to age gracefully.
